Hey it’s Meagan and today I’m here to review Allegiant by Veronica Roth
One choice will define you.

What if your whole world was a lie?

What if a single revelation—like a single choice—changed everything?
What if love and loyalty made you do things you never expected?

The faction-based society that Tris Prior once believed in is shattered—fractured by violence and power struggles and scarred by loss and betrayal. So when offered a chance to explore the world past the limits she’s known, Tris is ready. Perhaps beyond the fence, she and Tobias will find a simple new life together, free from complicated lies, tangled loyalties, and painful memories.

But Tris’s new reality is even more alarming than the one she left behind. Old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless. Explosive new truths change the hearts of those she loves. And once again, Tris must battle to comprehend the complexities of human nature—and of herself—while facing impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice, and love- goodreads.com summery

I’m sorry but I can‘t really review this book without spoilers so… please don’t read below if you haven’t read Allegiant.

Ok so I’m just going to cut to the chase and say that I didn’t enjoy this book very much. I enjoyed the 1st and most of the 2nd book in this series but I really don’t like the direction Veronica Roth took with this series. I feel like there were so many interesting things that could’ve been behind the fence that what was actually behind the fence was underwhelming.

Next I want to talk about Tobias’s POVs. To me his POVs were unnecessary (until the end), boring, and I got them confused with Tris POVs. When you have switching POVs I should never forget whose POV I’m reading from, and that happened a lot in Allegiant.

Last I’m gonna talk about the end (or as I call it depression town). As soon as you found out the security system was the death serum (which Tris could possible resist), I knew Tris was gonna sacrifice herself. The thing that upsets me about the end isn’t that Tris died it’s how she died. I mean she survived so much then she died from a gunshot… a stupid gunshot.

Overall I was not very impressed with this book. I didn’t enjoy the direction Veronica Roth went with the story. I also didn’t enjoy the Tobias POVs they were plain and just like Tris’s. And finally the end was just depressing.

That’s it from me…

Cosplay!

Hey guys it’s Meagan and Halloween just passed so I thought I’d do a little Halloween inspired discussion… about COSPLAY! If you were wondering cosplay is basically where you dress up and act like a character from a movie, video game, book, ect… so below I’m gonna tell you about some of the times I’ve dressed as fictional characters!

1st story!

***I don’t remember how old I was the 1st time I dressed as a fictional character but I remember who it was. One Halloween I didn’t have a costume so since I was really into Avatar the Last Airbender I decided to go as Suki from Avatar the Last Airbender. I actually just wore a ninja costume and made some fans and said I was Suki… ya no one knew who I was.

2nd story!

Now this story takes place in 2011. I had convinced mom to take me to the midnight premiere of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 and I wanted to dress up, but I wasn’t sure what to dress up as. Then I came up with the best idea!  I was gonna go as the deathly hallows… yes you read that correctly I went to the movie dressed as the deathly hallows (as in the cloak, the wand, and the stone). I bet half of you are wondering how I dressed as a wand, cloak, and stone so I’ll tell you. I got a bed sheet and wore it like a cloak. Then I brought the wand I own, and carried a stone. Awesome costume right? Ya amazing I know :)

3rd story!

This last story takes place last Halloween. Last year I just gave out candy, so I didn’t have a costume. Then Halloween night I came up with the idea that I could be a dauntless shadowhunter! So I wore all black (dauntless) and drew runes on myself (shadowhunter). I also carried my wand like it was a stele! ***My friends and I also did the same thing (dressed as dauntless shadowhunters) when we went to see the City of Bones movie!
That’s all the stories from me! Comment below and tell me your cool/ funny/ embarrassing cosplay stories! Or maybe you’re a normal person reading this that has never dressed as a fictional character before, in which case you probably think I’m weird and/ or have issues… in which case you’re probably right… JUST KIDDING! :)

That’s all for now…

BYE!
